Key learning outcomes Target of the study is represented by preparation of professionals with university education able to work independently in the scholarly field of history, being well versed in contemporary methodology of historical science and able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. The graduates will be prepared for work in scientific institutions prosecuting fundamental historical research and in institutions focusing on preservation and presentation of cultural heritage (museums, galleries, offices for the preservation of historical monuments, tourism, but also in state administration and local authorities (departments of culture, preservation of monuments and regional development of regional and municipal offices, regional development agencies etc.). Each student is obliged to acquire at least 120 credits during the study (credits from compulsory subjects, compulsorily-elective subjects and elective subjects). The study is completed by the final state examination and the defence of master´s thesis.
