Key learning outcomes The programme's aim is to prepare students for the teaching profession, so that they might be able to provide a competent, professional care for pre-school children. Such competence is to be based not only on expert knowledge, but also on human and social values, so that the time spent by children at a pre-primary school might be enjoyable, full of pleasant experiences, and at the same time provide a good and solid basis for further educational strivings and life in general.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Graduates are equipped with pedagogical, diagnostic, intervention, social, communicative, didactic and management competencies to the extent necessary for the education of preschool children. They are prepared to create, implement and evaluate individual educational plans, classroom curriculum and educational program for preschool education. They manage the organization of education in the kindergarten class, control and surveillance methods experiential learning, are able to communicate effectively with children, parents and other participants in the process of education in kindergarten. The hold moral values and attitudes that support the rights of each child and ethics of the teachers´ profession and they are prepared to continue their process of professionalization in lifelong learning.
