Key learning outcomes
|
Within didactics of the subject, students are provided by methods of teaching physics and technical education and planning of lessons focusing on specific areas like demonstrating and frontal experiment ( School Experiment Practice). They learn how to use computer science in teaching Physics and technical education and are informed about modern trends of Didactics of both subjects. Overview of teaching materials is also provided ( textbooks for different types of schools, equipment of physical departments and classrooms, teaching software etc.). This subject also includes teaching experience during the whole period of the study and a coherent teaching experience of several months at the end of the study. During these periods students gather communicative skills and other abilities for managing teaching profession. Other compulsory subjects provide knowledge in professional disciplines.

Graduates are prepared for the profession of physics teacher in elementary schools. Further application of graduates is mainly in public administration and manufacturing as well as non-manufacturing private sphere as specialists. Outstanding graduates may also continue to doctoral studies.
