Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the study field is the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in art-therapy that will enable the graduates to offer qualified artistic leadership to their clients and will foster the growth of their personal integrity. It widens the possibilities for finding applications among specialists in various domains of work with people, especially among educators, special ed. teachers, medical doctors, rehabilitation experts, personal assistants and other helping professions workers. It allows for the art-work based applications of diagnostic, counseling and therapeutic approaches within their professional orientation.

Successful graduates are qualified for team and individual therapeutic, educative or re-educative and visual art - pedagogical activities in all organizations and institutions where it is possible to stimulate visual art expression by specific art-therapy techniques, and to create atmosphere of communicativeness and openness. Examples of employment: art-therapist in pedagogical - psychological advisory center, educational and instructional institutions, care homes; visual art teacher helping healthy psychological development of children, therapist using visual art techniques individually as well as in group, member of human resources team helping to select staffers for certain professions.
