Key learning outcomes The educational objectives represent the following three blocks of courses; the central block is the German philology: 1) Czech philology: the Czech studies subjects of linguistics, literary theory and general cultural subjects. 2) German philology: the Germanistics subjects of linguistics, literary theory and general cultural subjects. 3) Social science: regionalistics, history.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Graduates have a good knowledge about the peculiarities and differences of social-cultural environment in the Czech-German area and at the same time possess high communication competence, and therefore can act in leading positions of management center institutions, which operate in the framework of cross-border cooperation on the EU institutions and bodies, in the bodies of the Czech/German/Austrian public administration or in the private sector. They may also work as coordinators of cross-border cooperation projects, in Fund of small projects or in any of institutions in the public sector, where there is a need not only to command the German language, but also have the knowledge about Czech-German cultural area. Graduates of Mgr. field ČNAS are also prepared to further education in PhD and doctoral programs.
