Key learning outcomes The aim of the Master's program is to provide the graduate with comprehensive linguistic and literary knowledge of the field and knowledge of translatology. Another aim is to develop its linguistic and intercultural competences, ability to work with text, and ability to interpret the text with a view to its subsequent transfer to the target language.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduate will master the Spanish language at C2 level. He will be equipped with knowledge of the history and theory of translation, he will also be well oriented in modern computational and corpus linguistics techniques, including CAT tools. They will become acquainted with modern methods of linguistic analysis (syntax, textual linguistics) that they will be able to apply in a contrastive perspective. He will be aware of the systemic differences between the two languages ??(Spanish and Czech), and will be able to choose adequate translation solutions based on well-founded language analysis. It will control multiple translation practices, both theoretically and practically. He will also gain important competencies in the field of Czech stylistics, especially when choosing the means typical of individual functional styles.
