Key learning outcomes
|
Besides the graduates' being professionally, personality-wise, and methodologically prepared for their role as teachers in high schools, they will be trained to take part in counseling activities in the school conditions (activities of a school psychologist; activities of educational counselors) as well. The graduates will be capable of implementing specialized psychologist's -or special education teacher's- recommended methodological procedures for re-education, rehabilitation, stimulation of the students. With the help of their acquired knowledge base the graduates will be able to assisst the school with generating the proper conditions for educational inclusion and will be ready to have an impact on areas such as organizational culture and psychology of management in school situation. The graduates are not fully qualified to maintain an independent psychological practice and cannot claim positions that require their graduation from a one-discipline M.A. study program in psychology.

|
Master degree gives a university level of knowledge on the field of education of psychology. Graduates can use threir knowledge in public services (education, social work, non profit organizations, private sector etc.). Student will gain not only theoretical knowledge of the key areas of pedagogical and school psychology but also skills in diagnostic, intervention, social, educational and managerial skills in training courses. Graduates will be prepared for teaching of psychology. Graduates will receive quality professional and methodical preparedness for work as teachers or assistants in schools, special educational institutions and support organizations. Graduates will also be able to work alone in helping teams, they will be able to carry out reeducation, stimulating and health supporting methodical procedures recommended by a psychologist or remedial teacher.
