The study programme focuses upon fundamental performance issues: at the competent performance level of a chosen musical instrument or of solo singing. It is concerned with the professional mastery of performance practice as well as with music theory, historical background, and music methodology. The study is completed with a state final exam which tests the knowledge and skills related to the above mentioned disciplines. It further consists of a diploma thesis and a graduate concert performance. The graduated students are able to teach at basic music schools (public or private), play in orchestras or to be employed in radio, television or other cultur institutions.
