Key learning outcomes
|
Aims of study programme: 1. To provide public sector employees with knowledge and develop skills in given study programmes (social pedagogy, psychology and specialized subjects integrated into joint programmes). 2. To upgrade professional qualifications of these employees to the university level, so that higher expectations of employers with respect to the Czech Republic joining the EU structures might be accommodated. 3. To provide students with skills needed to execute competently their professional responsibilities at the senior as well as the middle management levels. 4. To provide the basis for further university studies (e.g., Masters level degree).

Graduates are equipped with pedagogical, diagnostic, intervention, social, communicative, didactic and management competencies to the extent necessary for the education and social work. Graduates can use threir knowledge in public services (education, social work, non profit organizations, private sector etc.). They are able to perform other tasks arising from the support function of the profession. Their professional development graduates carried out via lifelong learning.
