Key learning outcomes The aim of the study program is to foster among its graduates the building of professional, psycho-educational, and developing skills necessary for the successful performing of the teaching profession. The character of the study program is interdisciplinary with a focus on integrated knowledge base, deepening of psycho-educational and subject specialized readiness, including subject -based educational techniques. Preparation for the teaching of foreign - English- language js an integral part of the discipline. The whole study is fused with a continuous educational field practicum. The graduate of the program is equiped with a complex mixture of skills that are necessary for the standing up to the contemporary and future demands on the performance of the teaching profession and to the needs of elementary school system. Educational, diagnostic, interventional, social, communication, discipline-related, didactic, self-reflective, and personality developing skills are seen as crucial.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Graduates mastered the knowledge base for teaching and created a foundation to develop subject-didactic competence to teach all subjects of the curriculum of primary school level. They are able to organize teaching and education. They are disposed to reflect changes in the educational environment and to respond them flexibly. They are able to perform other tasks arising from the support function of the profession. Their professional development graduates carried out via lifelong learning.
