Key learning outcomes The goal of the doctoral study branch Romance Languages is to provide the graduate with comprehensive linguistic knowledge of the field, methodology of linguistic research, critical analysis and linguistic theories and their independent development and innovation. The Romance Languages doctoral program focuses on scientific research and independent creative work in the field of both synchronous and diachronic aspects of Romance linguistics. In some of his narrower specializations, he also includes the study of professional language, contrastive analysis of Romance languages in relation to Czech and corpus linguistics. Doctoral studies are conducted under the guidance of the supervisor according to the individual study plan of the student, in the form of attendance.
