Key learning outcomes The aim of the study is to educate students leading to the acquisition of the following skills and knowledge: - Ability to choose adequate methods for obtaining economic, demographic and other suitable data and the ability to choose methods of their processing, incl. ability to use specialized or universal statistical software. Knowledge of working with databases and the ability of advanced data processing and reporting. - Ability of advanced programming of software management systems. - Ability to manage employees resp. teams and the ability to apply human resource management. - Knowledge of basic economic theories - Knowledge of legal regulations for conducting business activities / for public administration. - Knowledge of managerial approaches with emphasis on process management, knowledge of financial management. - Ability to apply risk management at the level of the company or institution. - Ability of advanced planning and design in the region.

Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning Bachelor's degree programs of the same or similar specialization in the field of economics, mathematics or statistics will be recognized.

Profile of the programme A graduate of the follow-up master's degree program Analysis in Economic and Financial Practice can apply as a risk manager, or as a business analyst, or as an analyst in public administration, depending on the chosen specialization. Depending on his focus, he can work as a chief analyst or consultant in the field of banking and insurance (risk manager), in business (business analyst), in state administration and local government (analyst in state administration). He can also deal with the operation and development of information systems and technologies, he can work as a head of application systems administration.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduate has deepened the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the bachelor's study program, ie masters the management methods of managing relevant resources (financial, human, material), is able to select and apply appropriate analytical and statistical methods for data collection and processing, incl. use of appropriate information systems and technologies (ICT). He is able to independently plan the activities of work teams and manage the implementation of projects, respectively. carry out control activities, propose measures for the given organizational units and manage relevant projects within the framework of change management.
