Key learning outcomes The aim of the programme is to prepare students for management and administrative activities in organisations dealing with regional development and tourism through education in areas relevant to current knowledge in the economic fields. The study prepares methodologically and practically equipped graduates capable of independent decision-making in the field of regional development and planning, related to the drawing of funds from subsidies and their subsequent use. Graduates will acquire the skills required for a regionally oriented manager in a leadership position. A manager of this type must be able to place the issue of regional development in a broader context (meso or macro-regional, global), evaluate the development of a given territory in the context of regional development theories, and be proficient in the appropriate tools of regional analysis in order to assess the regions' prerequisites for various economic activities. The acquired knowledge and skills will then be used in the currently often considered creation of various development strategies, passports, etc.
