Key learning outcomes The study in the Bachelor's degree programme German Language and Literature with a focus on education for secondary schools forms a whole with the follow-up Master's degree programme Teaching for Secondary Schools and together they are conceived as a comprehensive structured study (B.Sc. + M.Sc.), the successful completion of which leads to the qualification of a pedagogical worker - a secondary school teacher according to Act No. 563/2004 Coll. Both programmes (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) are submitted for accreditation at the same time. The structure of the programmes is consistently based on the Framework Requirements for Study Programmes leading to professional qualifications for the performance of regulated professions of teaching staff (No. MSMT-21271/2017-5a). In accordance with the aforementioned MSMT Framework Requirements, the Bachelor's degree programme in German Language and Literature with a focus on secondary school education includes subjects of subject-specific preparation, as well as the basics of subject-specific didactics, basic disciplines of pedagogical psychology and a compulsory assistantship, which the student implements at a selected secondary school.
