Key learning outcomes
|
The Production Technology study program responds to the demands of the labor market by providing graduates with competencies in materials engineering, mechanical engineering technologies, computer-aided design, computer simulation, and other areas. The curriculum therefore includes courses that enable graduates to acquire these knowledge and skills. The composition of the subjects in the bachelor's study program is chosen to adequately reflect the current needs of the manufacturing industry. Particular emphasis is placed on the Industry 4.0 concept (semi- or fully automated plant operations, digitization of production, creation of digital twins of products, machine vision, etc.). The study plan also includes subjects focused on the requirements of sustainable production, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Industrial Ecology, Best Available Technologies (BAT), and others. The program places great emphasis on professional practice, which students complete at leading industrial companies in the South Bohemian Region.
