Key learning outcomes
|
The Handling and Transport Engineering study program responds to the demands of the labor market, enabling graduates to acquire competencies in the areas of transport systems, handling technology, logistics, and business economics. The curriculum therefore includes subjects that enable graduates to acquire these knowledge and skills. The composition of the subjects in the bachelor's study program is chosen so that students can develop their skills in all key areas related to the operation, trade, and servicing of handling technology and transport systems. The study plan also includes subjects focused on the requirements of sustainable production and operation of these systems, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Industrial Ecology, Best Available Technologies (BAT), and others. The program includes a block of economics-oriented subjects that prepare students for leadership positions. Students also take subjects from a block of compulsory elective subjects that significantly strengthen their language skills and ability to work abroad.
