Key learning outcomes Studying in this bachelor's program forms a whole together with the follow-up master's program in Teaching for Secondary Schools, and together they are designed as a comprehensive structured study (Bc. + Mgr.), the successful completion of which leads to obtaining the qualification of an educational worker - secondary school teacher according to Act No. 563/2004 Coll. The main goal of studying at the level of a bachelor's degree program is to prepare graduates to become specialists in education within two fields (major and minor) corresponding to the future teaching subjects of the teacher. The inclusion of subject didactics, educational-psychological disciplines, and assistant practice already in the bachelor's study ensures that graduates will be able to consider the knowledge gained from studying subject-specific courses in relation to their practical application in educational practice, for example in educational work or in the role of a teaching assistant at a secondary school (according to the Act on Pedagogical Workers 563/2004 Coll., graduates of the bachelor's part of teacher training can hold positions as teacher assistants or educators).
