| Key learning outcomes | The bachelor's study program Foundations of Social Sciences with a focus on education for secondary schools is accredited as full-time study, which is always carried out in combination with another offered study program. The teaching is provided by the Faculty of Education at JU in cooperation with the Faculty of Theology at JU. The study program provides, through a combination of compulsory, compulsory elective, and elective subjects, a significantly deepened overview of economic, philosophical, political science, and sociological topics in specific socio-cultural contexts. The study does not ignore topics related to cultural and social anthropology, religious studies, historical foundations of contemporary society, and media communication in a globalized world. The aim of the study is for its graduates to acquire deep knowledge in individual taught social science disciplines in connection with their interrelation and at the same time to gain a foundation in both subject-specific and transdisciplinary didactics. | ||||
