Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates understand the principles and procedures of the entire beer production process, from the preparation of raw materials to the bottling of the final product. They have detailed knowledge of the chemical and biological processes that take place during fermentation and other stages of production, are familiar with the hygiene and safety standards necessary for brewery operations, have an overview of the legislative requirements relating to beer production and distribution, operate and set up the technological equipment used in beer production (brewhouses, fermenters, filtration, bottling), analyze the quality of raw materials and the course of individual production processes, apply hygiene procedures to ensure product quality and safety, solve problems in the technological process, and propose their optimization
