Key learning outcomes
|
The study program focuses on the preparation of teachers in individual specializations in accordance with the Framework Requirements for Study Programs, the completion of which provides professional qualification to practice regulated teaching professions; Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports 4626/2024-2. The five-year Master's study program Teaching for Secondary Schools with specializations is designed as a comprehensive educational plan, the successful completion of which leads to the acquisition of the qualification of a teaching professional - a teacher of general education subjects in secondary schools according to Act No. 563/2004 Coll.The overall distribution of the content of the study program and the corresponding credit load is structured in relation to the gradual development of the professional competencies of the future teacher*, where in the five-year master's program the subject component is functionally connected with the subject-didactic, pedagogical-psychological components and with the reflected teaching practices, including clinical semesters, and at the same time is in accordance with the Competency Framework for Teacher Graduates and the main points of teacher education reform and with the Czech Republic's Education Policy Strategy until 2030+. The Faculty of Education of JU (hereinafter PF JU) has defined its vision for preparing future teachers, which it called Teacher Pro Futuro, whose principles were applied in the creation of the study program.
