Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the issue of monitoring the state and changes in the environment at various levels, from the genetic and population level to communities, ecosystems and the landscape. Approaches to environmental assessment and monitoring using bioindicators and other methodological approaches are presented. Attention is also paid to the introduction to ecotoxicology.
Students will gather a knowledge in field of assessment of environment and environmental monitoring
Prerequisites
Fundamentals of ecology, chemistry and biochemistry.
