Course content
Contamination, movement, sorption and desorption of toxic, hazardous and problematic elements in soil, mineral and organic soil contaminants, soil detoxification and decontamination techniques, soil protection during fertilization and plant protection, water irrigation, the microbiology of soil hygiene. Methods of detoxification of organic pollutants in soil. Limitation of mobility of mineral pollutants in soil by chemisorption, double decomposition, oxidation, and activated sorption. Bacteriological evaluation of soil. Relationships between soil hygiene and nutritional safety of production. Analytics in soil hygiene.

Learning outcomes
The subject aims to get ecological and hygienic knowledge on soil, especially on the move, sorption and desorption of risk elements and molecules, principles of chemisorption in soil and microbiological detoxication.
Learning outcomes of the course unit students will acquire knowledge about microbiological soil settlement and its changes in different ways of soil cultivation management. Students will learn laboratory methods of control and research methods.
Prerequisites
Perfect knowledge of high school curriculum.
