Course content
Within the framwork of the subject student visit farms that introduce to their practice modern agricultural production systems. These systems make it possible to gentle utilization of soil, water, renewable resources and technologies for maximization of stable ageoecosystem achievement.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Excursion
  • Field trip - 16 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 84 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with contemporary trends in agriculture and introduce modern agricultural farming systems.
Students will get an overview of trends in modern agriculture.
Prerequisites
Active participation in excursion to selected farms.

Assessment methods and criteria
Systematic student observation, Seminar work

Participation in excursions, keeping a diary.
