Course content
Students are involved in practical agricultural activities in the experimental fields of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and laboratories of the department of agroecosystems or on farms of partners faculty and department. Simultaneously with practice in agricultural activities, environmental impacts of agriculture are included.

  • Class attendance - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course aims to introduce students to the practical aspects of agricultural activities and acquaint them with the direct work of farming operations while considering the environmental impact of farming activities.
Students will acquire the ability to actively participate in practical agricultural activities and direct knowledge of the functioning of farming operations.
Prerequisites
Theoretical knowledge of agriculture, good health condition.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation

Completing a week's agricultural practice (30 hours) during the summer semester.
