Course content
Course is focused mainly on: - Environmental impacts of agricultural systems - Innovative approaches in sustainable farming systems designing - Methods of evaluation of the impacts od agrictultural activities on environment - Interconnection of nature protection and farming practice - Aplication of agroenvironmental measures and elements of right agricultural practice.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
  • Preparation for classes - 72 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 36 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 90 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Course aims on basic theoretical and methodological knowledge of actual methods of evaluation of environmental impacts of farming systems and innovative approaches in fram of sustainable farms designing.
After absolving of the course, students gains knowledge of principles and methods of environmental impacts evaluation and of inovative aproaches of the sustainable farming systems designing.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of organic farming and ecology.
