Course content
|
Marketing of organic production is focused on description of basic principles of organic production, basic terminology and legislative, system of controls, certification and labeling of organic production, principles of marketing of organic production, it´s specifics, market sgementation, factors influencing market with organinc products. Subject also includes methods of direct and indirect distribution of organic production in conditions of Czech republic and economic viability in organic farming. Simultaneously with organic production, regional production is solved in frame of subject.

Learning outcomes
|
Goal of subject is to introduce principles of marketing of organic and regional production.
After absolving the subject, the student is able to make decision in frame of marketing of organic and regional production, have basic knowledge of principles of control, certification and labeling of organic production and of method of marketing and distribution strategies creation.

Basic knowledge of organic farming and organic production.

Credit Requirements: Participation in seminars, seminars and excursions Examination Requirements: Written test (75 % of successful completion), analysis of incomplete or incomplete answers, oral exam
