Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to increase theoretical and practical knowledge at applying complex weed regulation under ecological conditions using suitable measures. It explains the usefulness of weed infestation, harm, and their ecological importance. Attention is paid to the basic biological characteristics, diagnosis, prognosis and weed control weed infestation. The main focus is on prevention, mechanical and biological control of weeds in ecological conditions.
Enhancement of professional knowledge in the field of organic farming and friendly weed control methods respecting the principles of organic farming.
Prerequisites
General knowledge of science subjects at high school and newly at ZFJU, botany, agriculture.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam, Seminar work

Processing of seminar work, determination of selected weeds, their seedlings and seeds.
