Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The focus of the subject is on topics needed by secondary school teachers, namely testing, due to the involvement of secondary school teachers in the assessment of the maturita exam. Main areas : Validity, reliability, practicality , authenticity, washback effect in language testing. Critical assessment of tests. Writing tests.
Knowledge and application of appropriate methods of testing and assessment and the knowledge of aspects of a good test.
Prerequisites
The knowledge of ELT methodology in the area of teaching language skills.
