Course content
Unit 6A - 7C - New English File Intermediate 1. Shopping, reported speech: statements, questions, and commands 2. Cinema, passive: be + past participle 3. What people do, relative clauses: defining and non defining 4. Breaking news 5. Third conditional, making adjectives and adverbs 6. Question tags, indirect questions, compound nouns 7. Television, phrasal verbs 8. Apologizing, giving excuses 9. Vocabulary and grammar review

Learning outcomes
During the seminar the students should practice communicating naturally and fluently in different situations with regard to the attainment of the highest grammatical and lexical accuracy. The course aims to provide students with a balanced presentation of all language means and speech skills. The course is focused on fluency of expression, sensitivity towards different language styles and on the minimization of interferences caused by the mother tongue.
Students will acquire grammatical structures, vocabulary and communicative skills within the selected units of the New English File Intermediate course-book, at least to the level of B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
