Modern Teacher in the European Union (abilities, competencies and knowledge) 5. Coursebooks Analysis, How Culture Awareness Is Included in Them 6. How to Combine Linguistic and Cultural Aims and Objectives (Speaking, Listening) 7. How to Combine Linguistic and Cultural Aims and Objectives (Reading, Writing) 8. Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to the cross-curricular topic Multicultural Education and they will learn how to implement this topic into their English classes.
Students must be fluent in English and must be able to clearly express themselves.

Entry level: Upper Intermediate

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Student performance assessment, Seminar work

All examinations and consultations are held in English. active participation in seminars, maximum of 3 absences, student´s diary, reflective essay, peer teaching, a lesson plan (to be used as a part of student´s portfolio for the state exam) Students must be present 90minutes in the seminar (no late arrivals or early leaves)!
