Course content
1. Introducing yourself 2. Articles 3. Present simple, present continuous 4. Making definitions, relative clauses 5. Past simple 6. Past continuous 7. Future with "will", future with "going to" 8. Revision of tenses

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), E-learning
Learning outcomes
Repeating and deepening basic grammar. Deepening vocabulary. Conversation (selected topics from the field of professional studies). Mastering the language with a focus on the fundamentals of stylistics and professional vocabulary (at Pre-Intermediate). Practical mastery of language at pre-intermediate level, actively speaking and especially reading.
After completing the course the students are expected to be at level B1 in all language competencies according to the European Common Framework for Languages.
Entry language level: at least Pre-Intermediate.

Assessment methods and criteria

All examinations and consultations are held in English. Homework for every lesson. Active participation in the seminar. Final test.
