Course content
1. Present perfect 2. Prepositions 3. Reading professional texts 1 4. Reading professional texts 2 5. Use of gerund 6. Use of infinitive 7. First and second conditional 8. Passive voice

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Repeating and deepening basic grammar. Deepening vocabulary. Conversation (selected topics from the field of professional studies). Mastering the language with a focus on the fundamentals of stylistics and professional vocabulary (at Pre-Intermediate). Practical mastery of language at pre-intermediate level, actively speaking and especially reading.
After completing the course the students are expected to be at level B1 in all language competencies according to the European Common Framework for Languages.
Entry language level: at least Pre-Intermediate.

Assessment methods and criteria

All examinations and consultations are held in English. Active participation in the seminar. Homework for every lesson. Grammatical and lexical final test. One written assignment. Oral exam at the end of semester.
