1-2: The rationale for using drama in teaching foreign languages 3-4: Gestures and mime 5-7: Voice work, imagination, improvization 8-10: Techniques for developing language skills 11-12: Working with scripts 13-14:Staging a performance

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Participants will become familiar with different ways of using drama in English lessons. The aim of the course is to present drama techniques which can be integrated into any English lesson and used as an effective way of acquiring and practicing the language components and the four skills.
Participants will become familiar with drama techniques for use in teaching English to children.
