Course content
1-2 understanding the principles of inductive presentation and effective practice, the study of grammtical syllabus, examples from ELT textbooks. 3-14 presentaion of grammatical structures by students, feedback, description of the grammar structure from the point of view of linguistics, comparison of the language structures and functions in Czech and English.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to apply the knowledge of ELT methodology 2, namely teaching of English grammar. As in the compulsory subject there is not enough time for practical teachig of particular grammar structures, the students will learn to teach them in this subject. The subject will be based on peer teaching, the students will be teaching a particular grammar structure in pairs through the inductive method to learn how to work with it effectively. Other students will provide them with feedback. It will concern the choice of grammar, previous knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, presentation and practice and full understanding of the grammar structure itself.

Prerequisites
Knowledge of English morphology, knowledge of language learning theories and theories of grammar teaching.

Student performance assessment, Self-reflection

75 percent attendance, one practical presentation, involvement in class discussion.
