Course content
Lectures: Plant species transported as intact plants, in the vegetative state, as bulbs and tubers. Woods and other plant parts of species protected by CITES. Food and medicinal substances. Determination of main products from protected animals. Overview of national and international legislation concerning import and export of goods based on CITES species. Practical training: Demonstration of goods, essay.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with goods produced from plant and animal organisms protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.
Improving students' knowledge of the range of goods produced from plant and animal organisms protected by CITES conventions.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of plants and animals protected by CITES conventions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Demonstration of adequate knowledge.
