Course content

Topics: Sources of scientific information. Citation of literature. Literature reviews. Use of statistics in data processing. Preparation of tables and graphs. Writing a bachelor's and master's thesis - basic structure. Writing and evaluation of scientific work. Writing grant projects and applications for support. Curriculum vitae and job application. Preparation of a lecture, structured abstract and poster for a conference. Presentation technique, computer use, data projection. Oral presentation: lecture.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the exercise is to teach students the basic principles of presenting the results of scientific work in the form of analysis of their own and already published scientific reports.
Acquisition of basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills for information retrieval and evaluation of primary data for the purposes of the bachelor's thesis.
