Course content
1. Introduction to the geological sciences - motion of the Earth and of the Moon, the day/night cycle, Earth structure, rocks, minerals, geological processes, soil conditions, regional geology. Simple geological tasks for elementary students. 2. Introduction to the chemistry - inorganic and organic substances, simple chemical experiments for elementary students 3. Conditions for life.

Learning outcomes
1. Creation of knowledge background for the instruction of educational area Humans and their World, especially knowledge in inanimate nature with principles of geology, chemistry and knowledge in regional phenomena 2. Knowledge in the theory of instruction in the area of inanimate nature and view of teaching methods and forms that are used in teaching about inanimate nature
1. ability to transformation of nature knowledge to the primary school system and ability to conceive of curriculum independently from subjects 2. ability for teaching of cross-curricular subject Environmental Education (abiotic elements of environment, exploitation of natural resources, conservation and formation of environment, ...) 3. ability for use of knowledge in other area (Geography and History, human and the world of work, ...)

Knowledge in principles of geology, chemistry and ecology. Design, found and management of simple experiment.
