Course content
Natural science education and its effect in the field of health, aesthetic and emotional perception, intellectual skills, working proficiency and fitness Group instructions Discussion methods, rules of discussion methods Problem-based learning in natural science education Project method and activity learning in natural science education Open-air natural science education Education and science literature- utilization of books, in teaching process, searching scientific information, the use of filed guides, atlases. Planning and evaluation for natural science lessons. Preparing of school lessons, excursion, and laboratory exercise.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Students will learn: 1. how to use activity methods in teaching-learning process and organize group activities 2. how to organize out-of-school activities in natural science 3. biology lesson planning and evaluation. 4. Students practice themselves their communicative, pedagogical and organizational skills during microteaching activities.
1. Students get improve their ability for teaching natural science at basic school 2. Students are able to use different teaching methods and activities in education process 3. Students are able to organize problem- based learning, group activities and use activating and discussion methods. 4. Students are able to solve all requirements of natural science education at basic school

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

1. Students will be able to prepare all type of educational lessons (ordinary lesson in school, laboratory exercise, science excursion). 2. Students have knowledge in teaching methods as are activating methods, methods suitable for group activities, discussion methods, and problem- based learning. 3. Students must have good communicative, pedagogical and organizational skills To solution of the seminary work, active attendance at seminars. All materials related to the lessons of science didactics (e.g. seminar theses and essays, projects, literature reviews etc.) are summed at the preservice teacher's portfolio which reflects professional skills and experience.
