Course content
Biology Olympiad - structures and rules of organization of the competition, preparing and organization of the school level and higher levels. Scientific activities in biology for students of the secondary schools - Biology Olympiad. Other competitions in biology and nature sciences. Activities in the several institutions (e.g. Centres of environmental education etc.)

Learning outcomes
Objective of the subject is completion of the teacher training in the several out-of-school activities in biology and geology.
Student is able to organisation science competitions and out-of-school activities and scientific activities of pupils.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Student portfolio analysis

Worksheets, protocols and other documents for seminars. Control of set of materials in the end of semester. All materials related to the lessons of science didactics (e.g. seminar theses and essays, projects, literature reviews etc.) are summed at the preservice teacher's portfolio which reflects professional skills and experience.
