Course content
1. Practical experiments with plants - germination and growth in a climatic chamber, effect of factors on the ontogenetic development of plants, statistical evaluation of experiments. 2. Experiments with water plants - photosynthesis and water pH variation, morphological adaptations. 3. Excursion to ecophysiological department of Czech Academy of Science.

Learning outcomes
A subject concurs basic courses of plant physiology and general ecology. A solving of practical experiments vith plants (germination and growth in a climatic chamber, statistical evaluation of experiments, effect of particular factors on the ontogenetic development of plants). Experiments with water plants e.g. influence of photosynthesis to pH variation, influence of water-line to morphological construction of water plants etc. Excursion to ecophysiological department of Czech Academy of Science.
Ability to use theoretical knowledge for treatment of practical experiments with plants (germination and growth in climatic chamber, statistical evaluation of experiments, effect of particular factors on the ontogenetic development of plants, water plants photosynthesis and pH variation of water, morphological adaptations of water plants). Linked-up with ecophysiological department of Czech Academy of Science.
