Course content
1) Introductory meeting and choice of individual tasks 2) The field course ve vybraném biomu 3) A final reflexion and essay writing

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration, Skills training
Learning outcomes
The cource is focused on practical exploration of a selected biome. The course will run yearly in selected biome and region (e.g. Arctic tundra, Mediterranean forests and woodlands, Mediterranean sea, mountain tundra, desert etc.). The students will learn main environmental factors influencing the biome or ecosystem, the specific species and their adaptations.
1. student will be trained in ecology of the selected biome 2. student will be be trained in a biology of specific species in the biome 3. student will be able to plan and lead a field excursion to the given biome

Active presence at the field course, working on the tasks, writing of the final essay
