Course content
1. Didactic basis for environmental education in the kindergarten, an overview of teaching forms and methods used in the teaching of life sciences. 2. Orientation in the relation between pre-primary education and science education at primary school. 3-11 The classification, structure and function of organisms - overview of selected taxa of plants, fungi and animals - in consideration of the use at preprimary and primary education 12. Selected ecosystems of the Czech Republic with regional phenomena. 13. Overview of selected biomes, including representatives of the world's flora and fauna with their biology. 14. Ecology and Nature Conservation.

Learning outcomes
Creation and ordination of the knowledge base (framework) for preschool science and environmental education accordant educational field Child and world.
Graduate will be able to transform science knowledge into preschool environmental education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Mastering of the knowledge base of selected chapters of the natural sciences, especially biology, ecology and nature conservation. The graduates will be able transform acquired knowledge into the didactic system of preschool education.
