Course content
1. Pedology - soil constitution and soil formation, soil-forming process. 2. Soil properties - chemical soil properties. 3. Physical and technological soil properties. Soil cultivation. 4. Soil organic mass - importance, soil biota, humus and humus process. 5. Soil taxonomy of the Czech republic. Soil types. Soil degradation and soil protection. 6. Plant nutrition - microelements and macroelements, fertilization and fertilizers. 7. Climatology - climate factors, climate types and categories. 8. Atmosphere - structure and vertical classification of atmosphere. Meteorology. 9. Measurement of meteorological variables. 10. Climate taxonomy. Climatic zone. Climate of Europe and the Czech republic. 11. Bioclimatology, phenology. Air pollution, climatic changes. 12. Hydrology - water cycle, water balance, watershed of the Czech republic. 13. Surface moisture, soil water and underground water. 14. Water information, water prognose, flood-water protection.
