Course content
Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education- key competencies, educational content of biology Methods of biology curriculum selection and structuring Project-based teaching methods in biology Creation and implementation of educational project

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Written action (comprehensive tests, clauses), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to aims and curricular documents of the National Education Programme and the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education (FEP EE). Students will discuss educational goals, keys competencies and educational contents enabling the development of such competencies. Students will learn how to structure, organize, and select the educational content. They will also be able to create a biology curriculum. Students will learn how to plan and prepare educational projects leading pupils to solve problems and perform experimental activities. Students will able to implement their knowledge of principles of project teaching in cross-curricular subjects defined by the FEP.
