Course content
Students will be introduced to the basic principles of biology textbook (educational text, worksheets) writing.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Written action (comprehensive tests, clauses), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to the basic principles of biology textbook (educational text, worksheets) writing. Students will get to know how to select and define educational content of biology curriculum to fulfill the professional and didactic requirements. Students will able to use inductive procedure to infer new facts and deductive procedures to review and deepen biology knowledge. Students will realize the importance of using graphical expressions (pictures, tables, graphs) and particular examples from practice for establishing correct ideas and understanding of biological processes. Students will learn to prepare problem-based curriculum and test questions.
Students will get to know how to select and define educational content of biology curriculum to fulfill the professional and didactic requirements.

Student performance assessment, Seminar work

Students will be required to write a short text according to the didactic principles of biology education.
