Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to learn the students the practical knowledge and skills concerning the vertebrate zoology with emphasis on morphology and anatomy of characteristic chordate taxons. Special attention will be payed to the indigenous fauna and to important representatives of the world fauna with respect of their use in teaching. The course includes also dissecting and osteology training and practical identification of vertebrates.
Students will get the necessary knowledge and skills for transformation into environmental education and into the didactical system of education in science.
