Course content
During the opening of a scheduled two-hour seminar students get basic information about the forms of new religious movements from the perspective of modern religious studies and sociology of religion. During a personal meeting concentrated to a weekend event in the Czech Budejovice (nerozvrhováno, the need to negotiate with the teacher) and near listeners will have the opportunity for discussion with representatives of a variety of groups of new religious forms of expression (eg. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Religious Society of Jehovah's Witnesses , Scientology, Bahá'ismus and Diamond Way Buddhism). Conclusion The weekend events will be dedicated to the evaluation seminar.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to introduce expert view on the issue of new religious movements. Furthermore, to allow them at meetings with representatives of selected movements to better understand this phenomenon in its natural environment. With the help of the Joint Assessment seminars and essays surrendered in writing to enable students to reflect on their own experience based on discussions with colleagues and teacher.
The students know the problematics of New religious movements, especially in the South Bohemia.

Essay

Participation in the introductory seminar (scheduling in the summer semester), participation in weekend action (nerozvrhováno, need to make an appointment with the teacher, a personal meeting with leaders of the movement and evaluation seminar), Credit writing essay - the theme of the essay is "The Role of alternative religiosity in the Czech Republic" .
