Course content
The themes are chosen with regard to the study orientation and interests of the students, possible items: - Situation of morality in the European society, - "Culture wars" in Europe, - Theological-ethical questions of human rights, - Freedom of speech (language as a cornerstone of the civilization, deformation of language, the truthfulness, political correctness), - Special questions of the Social Doctrine of the Church, - Ethics and mass media, - The Internet ethics (netiquette) - Ethics of advertising, - Ethical questions of homosexuality, - Theological-ethical context of the ecoethics, - Ethical questions in the area of GMOs, - Ethical questions of the death penalty, - Ethical questions of peace and war

Learning outcomes
The subject is thematically connected with the lectures from the area of theological and social ethics. It develops, extends and deepens some special and actual ethical themes.
The student is apprised of some special and actual ethical themes and challenges, which is a presupposition for another reflection.

Oral examination

Knowledge, reflection and application of the content of lectures, study texts for the lectures and another recommended texts of literature.
