Course content
The content of the course is: - the concept of social services and their place in the offer of public services - Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services - the impact of Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services in practice - current events in the field of social services and SQSS - basic ideas of SQSS and their origin - implementation of SQSS in an organization providing social services - the essence of the SQSS with their wording Following the discussion during the seminar and current issues in the field of social services and SQSS, the teacher can ask students the questions or topics they will discuss in the seminar.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Demonstration, Activating (simulations, games, drama), Individual preparation for exam
Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to master knowledge and skills necessary for grasping the meaning of Standards of Quality in Social Services and the process of implementing them in the practice of social work in an organization providing social services. Students learns the following professional knowledge and skills within the course: Knowledge: the concept of social services, the context of social services in the Czech Republic, including the legislative context, the process of implementing SQSS, knowledge of SQSS and their importance for practice. Skills: knowledge of czech legislative (zák. No. 108/2006, On social services, knowledge of Annex No. 2 to Decree No. 505/2006 Coll., Which implements some provisions of the Act on Social Services), ability to orientate oneself in the Register of Social Services Providers, ability verify the specific fulfillment of SQSS in the organization, participation in the process of creating and implementing SQSS in practice.

Prerequisites
The course is best taken after the course Theoretical Foundations of Social Work and Case Social Work.

Student performance assessment, Test

- In case of students absence at the introductory lesson finding out the current requirements and conditions of study, which are always further specified at the first lesson, from colleagues, - studying the basic literature which will be attested when taking the exam, - studying the study materials, - viewing or listening to documents.
