Course content
The themes and concrete texts are chosen with regard to actual events in the world of politics and economics and also with regard to professional orientation and interests of the students.

Learning outcomes
The seminar is thematically connected with the lecture Charity and Social Ethics. It is based on the work with the concrete expert texts and with other additional materials - the students will extend and deepen their reflection of the themes of social-ethical area with the aid of short reports and subsequent organized discussions. The seminar is oriented on ethics in the area of human rights, social rights, structures of the civil society, political and economic ethics, on the individual-ethical and social-ethical aspects of the charity work, poverty, the development aid, and then on the ethics in public service and professional ethics.
Based on the work with the concrete expert texts the student deeper reflects ethical questions and challenges in the area of the society - in the field of human rights, social rights, interpersonal and social solidarity, political and economic structures, in the area of the charity work, poverty, the development aid, and then on the ethics in public service and professional ethics.

PS: Attendance at the seminar 80 percent, active participation, presentation of the thematic report cca 20-30 minutes KS: High quality seminar work - extension cca 10 pages, with agreed topic from the area in advance - offered by the teacher or in accordance with students´ suggestion, but consulted at the beginning of the semestr, continuous consultation of the work during the semestr
